Expat Network Newsletter – August 2022

Welcome to Expat Network’s August newsletter.

Retirement abroad is increasingly attractive to many and a recent survey by Pensionbee even had as many as 47% of Brits saying that they were considering retiring abroad. We are planning a Retire Abroad Roadshow at Epsom Racecourse in November and hope to see some of you there. We also look at Antigua as a potential retirement destination.

Another growth trend is the life as a digital nomad driven by people’s ability to work remotely and desire to travel. We look at 15 countries with digital nomad visas, at the best beach communities around the world and at how to start a travel blog.

For those looking for a more traditional route of working abroad we have a piece on how to write a CV for an international career and how to explain a gap in your CV.

Looking at the results of some recent surveys we have an article on the most expensive cities in the world and another on countries with the best work-life balance in Europe.

The international property market is seeing significant activity and Kyero have sent us the conclusions from their Q2 European Overseas Property Market Tracker as well as an article explaining the record year for the European market.

Finally, we have an article on how to plan for your healthcare for those thinking about moving abroad for the first time.
