US tax returns were due to be filed on 15th April, but when living abroad American expats get an automatic two-month extension to 15th June and can apply to extend further to 15th October. If they are going to be compliant they need to file by that date. Greenback Expat Tax Services set out how the IRS are increasing pressure on expats.
