Expat Network Jobs Newsletter - January 2021
Welcome to Expat Network’s
Jobs Newsletter.
A recent survey places various Spanish cities as the most popular places for expats. We also look at Hamburg and its attractions and then give tips on moving to and settling in Germany.
We cannot avoid the pandemic and we look at the impact it has had on world travel and give some tips on how to travel safely in 2021. A survey has also shown that the pandemic is causing many expats to rethink whether they want to continue living abroad.
Absenteeism has long been a problem especially with the current problems, but what about presenteeism where people continue to work when unwell. This is also an increasing issue.
It was only a month or so ago we were reporting optimism about the opportunity to emigrate to Australia but the new strains of Covid are causing politicians there to question what is achievable.
As well as links to some of the new job opportunities available at
www.expatnetwork.com, we explore some of the many issues affecting your working life as an expat - or would-be expat.
We are, as always, here to help and welcome any suggestions on topics that you would like us to cover. Just write to
expats@expatnetwork.com. So if you have any queries about expat jobs or other topics don't hesitate to drop us an email. We love to hear from you!
